Activities and Sightseeing in Honningsvåg
The museum “Nordkappmuseet” is open throughout the summer and offers guided tours.
Marked paths in Honningsvåg will lead you to houses from the time of
reconstruction and to the over 100-year-old church.
A trip to the North Cape is a great adventure of nature.
The same is true for the North Cape Cliff, which is located
approximately 35 km from the town centre. On your way to
the North Cape you can also take a short trip to Skarsvåg
where a marked trail will lead you
to “Kirkeporten” – one of nature’s moods.
For those who wish for a more unusual experience we can recommend
a trip in a rubber dinghy with “Deep Sea Rafting”.
If you feel like going for adventures of a more special and extreme kind,
call at “Nordkapp Dykkersenter” for underwater experiences.
All necessary equipment as well as a tourist guide can be ordered.
A boat trip to the bird rocks of “Gjesværstappan” is an attraction
and an experience of a special kind. Here you can watch puffins,
sea eagles and gannets, among others.
